Micro-leak Sealing Tester Leak-S is suitable for package sealing test. The instrument adopts the principle of vacuum attenuation testing and completely non-destructive testing technology, which meets the ASTM testing method. High precision testing techniques can detect leaks in micro holes.
Principle of Vacuum Attenuation Test
According to ASTM F2338 vacuum attenuation sealing test standard requirements, Based on dual sensing technology, dual cycle testing system. The specific testing process involves connecting the main unit of the micro leakage sealing tester to a specially designed testing chamber to accommodate the object to be tested. The instrument evacuates the testing chamber, creating a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the packaging. Under the pressure, the gas inside the packaging diffuses into the testing chamber through the leakage hole. The dual sensor technology detects the relationship between time and pressure changes and compares it with the standard value (established mathematical model) to determine whether the sample is leaking.
